Why is Indian food so famous?
Oh boy, where do I even start with this? Indian food has conquered hearts (and taste buds) globally, and it's not just because it's a culinary rollercoaster! The magic lies in the mind-boggling variety of flavors, colors, and textures. Now, let's not forget about those intoxicating aromas, they really know how to draw you into a feast! And lastly, the art of blending spices, it's like watching a spice wizard at work! So, in short, Indian food is the Beyoncé of all cuisines, it's that superstar that's got the world grooving to its beats!
Why don't you want to live in India?
Despite India's rich culture and history, I find living there challenging due to several reasons. The country struggles with pollution, overpopulation and inadequate infrastructure which can make daily life difficult. Corruption and bureaucracy also hinder progress and can make simple tasks, like setting up utilities, unnecessarily complicated. Safety, especially for women, is another serious concern. Lastly, the high level of poverty and socio-economic inequality is disheartening.
Which is the tastiest food in India?
In my foodie journey across India, it's almost impossible to pick just one dish as the tastiest. Every region has its unique and mouthwatering delicacies. However, if I had to choose, it would be the rich and flavorful Biryani, a mixed rice dish that truly captures the essence of Indian spices. My second favorite has to be the universally loved Butter Chicken, with its creamy, buttery gravy that goes perfectly with Naan. But let's not forget the sweet-tooth satisfier, Gulab Jamun, a dessert that melts in your mouth and leaves you craving more.
Do you feel perfectly ok to drink alcohol as Indian girl/woman?
As an Indian woman, I've often questioned whether drinking alcohol is considered socially acceptable or not. Cultural norms and societal pressures sometimes make it a controversial topic. However, I believe that the choice to consume alcohol should be a personal decision based on individual beliefs and values, not societal expectations. It's imperative to remember to drink responsibly and in moderation. Ultimately, being an Indian woman doesn't dictate my choices, including whether or not to enjoy a glass of wine.
