iPhone 17 Pro debuts in bold Cosmic Orange as Apple drops black from Pro lineup

Apple unveiled the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max with a striking Cosmic Orange finish and just two other colors—Deep Blue and Silver—dropping black for the first time on a Pro model. The phones bring an A19 Pro chip with vapor chamber cooling, upgraded 48MP triple cameras, Ceramic Shield 2 on both sides, and longer battery life. Prices start at $1,099 with 256GB; Pro Max adds a 2TB option. Pre-orders began Sept 12; launch is Sept 19.
